Milan airports

Milan airports: Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio (Bergamo)

The three Milan Airports (Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio) are 180, 200 and 225 km from Aosta, respectively.

Malpensa Airport

During the ski season, some tourist resorts can be reached from Malpensa by coach.

From Malpensa there are coach services connecting the airport with the cities of Turin and Milan, where you can catch direct services to Aosta. (for non-connecting bus arrivals and departures, you have to transfer by metrò or taxi).

Linate Airport

There is a bus service connecting the airport with Milan Central Station. From Milan there is a direct coach service to Aosta, which departs from Milano Lampugnano station, or you can go to Milan Central Station and go by train (changing in Chivasso  and Ivrea station).

The Flixbus company has direct bus connections from Aosta to Bergamo Orio al Serio airport and vice versa.

From the airport there is a bus service which departs every 30 min. or so connecting the terminal with Milan Central Station, where you can catch trains to Aosta Valley (changing in Chivasso and Ivrea stations).

By car, you take the A4 motorway from Bergamo ( a few km from the airport) going towards Torino/Monte Bianco. When you reach Santhià, follow the signs to Aosta/Monte Bianco.
