Musicastelle in Blue

The real stars here are the castles and fortresses of Valle d‘Aosta, which provide the exclusive backdrop for particularly enchanting evenings.

As can be seen from the programmes of the previous two editions (2010 , 2009 ), these are top-flight concerts by superb artists.

Now in its third edition, the Musicastelle Festival will be held in the Bard Fort.

The 2011 programme features an extension of the Musicastelle in Blue section, introduced in 2010 and co-produced with the well-known Blue Note venue in Milan, dedicated to jazz music, crossing over into quality pop.

Musicastelle in Blue will be held from 8 to 16 July 2011 in the inner courtyard of the parade ground in the Bard Fort, and will comprise six concerts, mixed with a range of other complementary events: visits to the “Joan Mirò. Poème” exhibition and pre-concert aperitifs.
