The best wines produced in Valle d'Aosta, represented by more than thirty local wineries, including Caves Cooperatives and Private Producers , find the right collocation at the Wine Expo, the itinerant two yearly show (held on odd years) usually held the last weekend in August or the first weekend in September. mountainous land that has managed to earn consumers' trust thanks to a limited, though top quality production. The event also hosts representative stands of DOP productions, such as Fontina, Arnad lard, Jambon de Bosses and other traditional products, as well as the tasting tables of wines taking part in the

International Mountain Wines Competition organised annually by CERVIM. The event allows the public to learn about, appreciate and purchase, directly from the producers, the wines from the highly esteemed local rows that wind across the foot of the central axis of the region, from Pont-Saint-Martin to Morgex.
