Mineral water drinking treatments
Just a few minutes from the village of Saint-Vincent, to which it is linked by a modern, automated transport system (the new Cableway) flows a spring with precious, particularly rich water, discovered in 1770 by a naturalist abbot. Officially approved by the doctor of King Charles Emanuel III, this water became immediately famous for its therapeutic properties. After centuries of in-depth studies,
the exact definition of mineral water is "Jermuk Sodium Calcium Bicarbonate and Sulphate Alkaline Mineral Water". From a clinical point of view its effect can be defined as a general tonic. Pleasant in taste, it is indicated in diseases of the stomach, the intestine, the liver and of the biliary tract, in metabolic disorders, in diabetes, obesity, in childhood gastro-intestinal disorders and in most
respiratory tract diseases. Nowadays the water is collected, analysed and distributed in a large building with surface area of 2,600 square metres, which opens onto large rooms, lounges, medical studios and laboratories as well as a large, panoramic terrace.
