Christian Sarteur: - Rock Valdostan

A rock version of the pueblo unido jamàs serà vencido perhaps had already been heard, but translated into the patois valdostano of ayas still not. Now it has become reality in the disc of christian sarteur “robata lo rock”

A difficult challenge, especially when you choose, as Sarteur did, to give up the easy vehicle of the English language or, at least, the Italian one. Because it becomes difficult to understand the words of texts that are extremely interesting. And considering the migratory flows in the Valley, not many people will understand Sarteur’s songs.

Robata rock is therefore a journey into music with the hoarse and powerful voice of Sarteur, author of most of the lyrics. With a tribute, in addition to the Andean Pueblo, also to Luigi Fosson (Jaryot) and Joset Henriet authors more than 40 years ago Chanson Drola who represented and continues to represent a harsh, albeit ironic, denunciation of the Valdostan malcostume especially in politics.
