The route can be reached with the cable car which starts from Plan de la Glaea and arrives in La Salette at an altitude of 2,200 m.

The free excursion piste « Tour di Mande », not controlled, bordered and arranged, leaves from the arrival station of the Valtournenche-Salette cable car (2.281 m). It can be covered on foot or with snow rackets. There are loops of 4, 5 and 7 km in front of the enchanting panorama of the Grandes Murailles.
