Twelve are the sections corresponding to the themes treated in the volume, beginning from the European elections, which are seeing for the first time a woman, Ursula von der Leyen, as leader of the Ue Commission.
Then, the amazing images of the demolition of Morandi Bridge in Genova. Another image symbolizing, in its tragedy, last year is the one of the father with his daughter, dead and hugged on the bank of a river at the borders between Mexico and the United States. And Paris: hit in a few months by the violent demonstrations of the Yellow Gilets and by the fire of the Notre-Dame cathedral.
But the dominant face of the year is the one of Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish girl who dragged on the planet’s squares millions of young demonstrating about the environment tragedy.
