The Fort of Bard presents the Italian preview of the 55th edition of Wildlife Photographer of the Year, which is promoted by the Natural History Museum of London and is the most important acknowledgement in the field of wildlife photography. This spectacular fortress at the edge of the Aosta Valley is hosting the first leg of the Italian tour for the 9th year in a row. Every year, this exhibition awards the most beautiful photos taken of the animal and botanical world.

One hundred photos taken in 2019 will display stupefying mastery in capturing nature in all its forms. Visitors will get a sneak peek at fascinating details and breathtaking landscapes, making them feel as if they were journeying through the most extraordinary places on earth.
