Ciaspatron - snowshoeing at dusk

To celebrate the patron saint's day, a late afternoon snowshoe hike to the Servette mining site is offered.
Participants explore the Saint Marcel mountain as a veritable open-air laboratory, where every tunnel, path and structure tells the story of the evolution of human labour and technical ingenuity.

There will be no visit to the mine and, upon arrival at the site, there will be a self-organised snack, where everyone brings something to share.

This will be followed by dinner (optional) at the Locanda del Diavolo, not included in the cost of the excursion.

Time and meeting place: 16h30 in Laycher (Locanda del Diavolo)
Estimated journey time: 2 hours there and 1 hour 30 minutes back
Difference in level: 300 m
Difficulty: medium 
Clothing, equipment and materials recommended: warm clothing, drinks, headlamp, some snack.
