A renovation of the old station of 1850, the Auberge de la gare is the first hostel you come across on entering Valle d’Aosta from Piedmont. Located at a strategic point on the via Francigena from where you can quickly reach various sites including Fort Bard (500 metres) the Mont Avic Park and the valley of Champorcher (14 km). The newly opened Saint Vincent thermal springs and spa is just 15 minutes away. The area also offers many facilities for practising climbing, kayaking, canyoning and fishing in the Ayasse stream as well as beautiful medieval castles.

How to get here by car
Take the Pont-Saint-Martin motorway exit (Turin-Aosta motorway).
Follow the State Road no. 26 towards Aosta and, after passing through the municipality of Bard, turn left at the roundabout (following directions for the Valle di Champorcher).
After crossing the bridge on the Dora Baltea river, at the roundabout take the third exit towards the train station. At the next crossroads turn right.
