La ferme du Grand Paradis

The shop is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The farm can be visited all year round upon reservation to be made by e-mail or telephone (contact: Paola Bortoli) at least one day in advance.
The tour includes a visit to the dairy, the aging cellar and the stables where it is possible to watch the cows and goats being milked.
The animals of the farm stay in Valnontey all year round and do not transhume as the farm is already located at 1670 m above sea level. From the month of June, the animals graze on the farmland (about 18 hectares) all day and return to the stable for milking in the afternoon. Visitors can watch and pet the cows, goats, sheep, pig and poultry.

How to get there
The farm can be easily reached by foot from Cogne, by car (free car park inside for customers) or by shuttle bus (500 m from the bus stop).
The farm is located at the beginning of the path which leads to the Sella mountain refuge, under the Paradisia botanic gardens.
