Description of the route
Leave the car at Valnontey, in the municipality of Cogne, then take the dirt road (itinerary no. 22) that runs alongside the Valnontey stream to its end. From here continue 500m along route no. 22 until you reach a junction. Here, take itinerary no. 22C on the left, which winds upwards. When you reach a bifurcation, ignore the right-hand section of the 22D which goes up to Money, and continue along the left-hand section 22C, which leads to Money bivouac.
Just before you get to the bivouac you will find a section of the trail equipped with ropes and chains.
