Recommended/ required equipment and materials: It is recommended the use of suitable equipment for the season. Required clothing: waterproof-jacket, trekking boots, sunglasses, cap, sunscreen, a bottle of water and packed lunch.
Trekking poles are recommended.
In case of bad weather the itinerary can be changed, or the hike can be cancelled.

A full day excursion at the discovery of the Great St. Bernard Pass, between nature, history, and environmental characteristics of the village of Etroubles. This hike is reserved for the visitors of the Gran San Bernardo Valley.
You will reach the Great St. Bernard Pass by bus, while the descent will take place along the Via Francigena. At the end of the excursion a testing of typical local products will be served at the restaurant Marietty. The cost of this meal is 15 € per person.
