St. Margaret’s Antiques Fair
The St. Margaret’s Antiques Fair, dedicated to the patron saint of the village, is a fixed appointment that from several years attracts exhibitors and enthusiasts in the streets of the pretty and ancient village of Entrèves at the foot of Mont Blanc which is filled with stalls bearing all kinds of items: you can find articles ranging from antiques to humble household objects found in dusty attics.
Market with spectacular view of the Mont Blanc chain.
The fair usually takes place on five summer Mondays in the months of July and August, on set dates. On this occasion, the hamlet of Courmayeur, located three km from the center just before the Mont Blanc tunnel leading to France, is closed to vehicular traffic throughout the day.
The visitor therefore has the opportunity to find particular, original and unusual objects by walking quietly in the village in front of the highest mountain in the Alps.
