Entering the Urtier valley in winter, means opening the body, hearth and mind to wonderful white word, having a snowy soft cover.
It is quite difficult to describe the enchanting atmosphere while admiring the larch and spruce woods, but it’s much easier to experience it while snowshoeing in the same woods. A real paradise of wilderness in front of the Grivola peak.
All participants will be equipped with ARVA kit: shovel and probe, after a practical demonstration of their use.

Time of the snowshoe hike: 4h30
Hight difference: 450 metres approx.
Difficulty: WT3 (snowshoe hike for experienced hikers)
Number of participants: minimum 6 – maximum 8 persons
*Equipment:*snowshoes and snow poles provided by the guide
*Clothing:*necessary clothing: trekking boots, warm winter layered clothing, water-proof pants, rucksack, thermos with a hot drink, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.
