Extraordinary temporary opening of the Château Vallaise in Arnad, a refined late-seventeenth-century building, currently undergoing consolidation and restoration.

A white and sober façade encloses a succession of rooms decorated with magnificent frescoes, among which stands out, as a hidden jewel, the so-called “Gallery of the Strong Women”, named for the particular subjects depicted here: figures of women from the Old Testament , from ancient, classical and medieval history represented alongside emblematic heroines for their moral qualities and virtues.

From August 22nd to 25th, the extraordinary opening of Château Vallaise will take place at the same time as the Festa del Lardo di Arnad, an appreciated event that pays tribute to this excellence of the typical Aosta Valley delicatessen.
