Can be reached in three and a half hours from Bonne, above the Laghi del Morion (Morion Lakes), at the foot of the Rutor, the Rifugio degli Angeli (formerly Scavarda) is the starting point for the Testa del Rutor, a central panoramic point for the entire Valle d?Aosta.
The refuge, which has been recently renovated, is situated on Alta Via N° 2 with the possibility of reaching Rifugio Deffeyes and the Valle di La Thuile, the Bezzi and Chalet de l?Epée refuges in Valgrisenche and other French refuges.

Aosta Ovest-Aymavilles motorway exit. At the motorway exit carry straight on towards Aosta until you reach the roundabout: turn left here and carry on along strada statale (main road) 26 towards Mont Blanc going past Sarre castle on your right and past the towns of Saint-Pierre and Villeneuve.
Keep going straight on and approximately 8 km from the motorway exit, you will reach the built-up area of Arvier, go past it and carry straight on to reach the roundabout and go along the viaduct. Before the next tunnel, turn left and you will reach the built-up area of Leverogne, the road towards Valgrisenche starts here. Carry on along it for approximately 20 km until you reach the centre of Valgrisenche, carry straight on and, after the built-up area, keep right to reach the summit of the dam where the hamlet of Bonne is situated and where you can leave your car. The refuge can be reached on foot in approximately three and a half hours.

The nearest train station is in Aosta.
