The Etoile du Berger farm tourism is run directly from the owners and it is located in the historical centre of Lillaz, a small village at 1617m in the Valley of Cogne.
This is a very old house dating back to 1600, nicely renovated in local style with wood and stones. It offers 6 rooms and a flat with B&B or half board.
From the site you can enjoy a nice view on the Gran Paradiso chain and further away of the Mont Blanc chain.
The Lillaz village is famous for its waterfalls that in winter, when frozen, become a paradise for ice climbers. It is an ideal starting point for excursions in the Gran Paradiso National Park during summer and for cross-country skiing in winter.

Aosta Ovest-Aymavilles motorway exit. After the toll booth, turn right following the signs for Aymavilles-Cogne and head towards the town. Go past Aymavilles follow the regional road for approximately 20 km up to Cogne. At the first roundabout turn left and follow the road up to the next roundabout, where you need to carry straight on for a few more kilometres and go uphill towards Lillaz. The agritourism Etoile du Berger is situated at the beginning of the village, past the bridge you turn left.
