Veni vidi Augusta - Ancient Rome among alpine peaks - Historical re-enactment

A three-day historical re-enactment dedicated to ancient Rome in the Alps: Augusta Prætoria comes back to life.

A Roman military camp will be set up near the Roman Theatre, including the commander's tent and the place where the legion's insignia were kept, while in the Salasso village, reconstructed outside the walls, you will be able to breathe in the daily life of the ancient Celtic people, meeting the blacksmith or the druid.

This is an educational and exciting experience that will provide an in-depth understanding of the customs, traditions and social structures of both populations.
