Hike followed by a dinner at the Vittorio Emanuele II mountain refuge

Departure from Verres by car to reach the village of Pont in Valsavarenche. After about a three-hour walk, you’ll reach the Vittorio Emanuele mountain hut, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner. After dinner, you will make your way down into the valley with the aid of headlamps 

The hike is not particularly difficult. With the aid of crampons, it takes around three hours to reach the iconic mountain hut situated at the foot of Gran Paradiso.

• Hiking time: 7 hours approx.
• Length of the hike: 9 km appox. 
• Elevation gain: +700 metres
• Difficulty: E (hiking)

Number of participants: 

• Minimum 7, maximum 20 persons 
• Season-appropriate clothing
