Snowshoe hike to the Mrmotte refuge, in the Etrelor valley

SNOWSHOE HIKE ALONG WHITE AND LONELY ITINERAIRES

Let’s discover the Aosta Valley at a slow pace. From the beginning of the hike, you will be surrounded by nature, peace, loneliness, forests and snow-capped peaks.

Short but wonderful itinerary in the heart of the Rhemes valley. You will cross the itinerary of the Alta Via n2, till you reach the Entrelor valley. This last is a classic example of a glacial valley populated by the fauna of the Park.

Time of the hike: 1h15 (ascent) – 1h00 (descent)

Height difference:  420 metres approx.

Difficulty:  E - (for hikers)

Number of participants:  minimum 4  -  maximum 8 persons

Reccomended clothing: you need warm, water-proof, winter clothing , hiking boots (no MOONBOOT), rucksack with packed lunch, thermos with tea or other drimks, gloves, cap, sunglasses.

In case of bad weather:  the organization will have to decide wether to adopt a B plan (alternative itinerary), or cancel the excursion.
