Opening of the festival Aosta Città Diffusa

The fourth edition of the festival Aosta Città Diffusa begins with a talk with Giuliana Cunéaz, an artist of New Media Art. The conversation starts with the work I cercatori di luce, a video installation with a spiritual character of which an 8-minute excerpt will be screened as a regional premiere. Cunéaz's works are presented in numerous national and international festivals, a plastic research that combines with video experiments. In 2021 Giuliana Cunéaz becomes part of the Quirinale Contemporanea Collection. In this meeting, darkness and light will be analyzed as antithetical and necessary places, capable of designing architecture to be frequented, in the city and within oneself.

Aosta Città Diffusa is a traveling festival of performing arts and urban regeneration that takes place in Aosta, between the centre and the suburbs. The program includes shows, performances, screenings, meetings and visits. The theme of the fourth edition is Light and Dark. A project by Creature Montane, in collaboration with the Palinodie theater company, dir. artistic Verdiana Vono and Stefania Tagliaferri, with the support of the Valle d'Aosta Autonomous Region, the Municipality of Aosta and the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation.
