A special hike to admire Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso before dinner.

Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso are two huge peaks that rise in the sky with soaring boldness at the centre of our hike. A loop itinerary the alpine prairies that allows us to admire these two massifs rich in mountaineering events. The theme of our evening will be the alpine orogenesy. More in detail,we will talk about the formation of the Alps from the scientific point of view, without fogetting stories, legends and local traditions that are inevitably liked to these mountains. A simple, but at the same time special excursion, to be experienced before sunset.

Meeting time and place: 6.30 p.m. parking in Gimillan, Cogne
Time of the excursion :1h30 about to complete the circular itinerary
Height difference: 100 metres approx.
Difficulty: E/T (for hikers)
*Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 12 persons (children up to 8 years)
Recommended clothing and equipment: trekking boots, layered clothing, wind-proof jacked.
