The Vetan basin and the open-air museum .

Guided excursion starting form Vetan dessous, hamlet situated above the village of Saint-Pierre, to reach the Mont Fallère Refuge (2385 metres). Along the itinerary you can admire the wooden statues that accompany you to the refuge. After reaching the “Lago delle rane” (frog lake) you return to the starting point, but this time the way back will follow a different trail.

Time of the excursion: 5h30, to complete the loop itinerary

Difficulty: E (for hikers)
Recommended equipment amd materials: packed lunch, layered clothing, trekkking boots
