Saint-Jacques
Lunch will be served in a mountain hut and will be at participants' cost.
If you need to rent equipment (snowshoes/crampons, poles, etc.), ask the hiking guide.
Discover the ancient Walser people who reached the Ayas Valley via rugged Alpine passes, a legacy of which still exists today. After ascending a picturesque snow-covered forest, you'll reach a plateau at the foot of the Monte Rosa massif, where you can admire its glaciers and imposing morphological features.
The hike continues towards the village of Resy, which offers a stunning view of the upper Ayas Valley. Here, you'll enjoy a refreshing lunch at the Ferraro Refuge, before returning to Saint Jacques along an alternative route.
