Snowshoe hike and aperitif in a mountain hut

Snowshoe hike and aperitif in a mountain hut situated  in the forest of Rhemes-Notre-Dame  

As you ascend through the willow and spruce forest, you will observe nature and your nature guide will describe the fauna, the alpine environment and the geomorphology of the area. Once you arrive at the hut in the middle of the forest, you can enjoy an aperitif.  Return to conclude an excursion.

Guide qualified to accompany on snow-covered terrain. Qualification certified by a compulsory course.

Meeting time and place:  3 pm Loc. Chanavey, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame
Return: expected return at 7 pm
Duration of the snowshoe hike: 2 hours one way 1½ hours return
Height difference: 200 metres 
Difficulty: E (hiking difficulty)
Number of participants:  minimum 8 – maximum 25 persons 
Recommended clothing and equipment: wind breaker, snowshoe boots, hat, gloves, mountain backpack, head torch
