80 unpublished paintings that retrace the artistic and figurative path of Italo Mus (1892-1967), "the most famous painter of Aosta Valley". A particular artistic path which reveals all the the different themes on which the painter focused his attention, during more than 50 years of tireless activity. His vast artistic production includes different works ranging from portraits, landscape paintings, still-life.
It is also important to point out that his varios works focus on social and cultural issues, and extend well beyond the boundaries of the Aosta Valley. A real example of this period are some importantant pantings representing sea views, such as: “Il Grande Trittico di Bordighera “. But it is worth mentioning also a series of exotic works, painted after a long cruise that Mus did across the Mediterranean Sea, in 1963.
