“Krämerthal” is the latest product of the mix of Art, Theatre and Music created three years ago by Gaetano Lo Presti who has his strengths in the histrionic performers (Bobo Pernettaz and Silvana Bruno), in the paintings of Bobo, in the original songs and musicians of the caliber of Bruno, Perret and jazz musicians like Bruno Martinetti and Alberto Faccini.
This time Lo Presti started from the song “Krämerthal” by Perret to retrace the history of the Val d’Ayas in its golden age: at first when, between the thirteenth and sixteenth centuries, it was an important trade route, the Valley of the Merchants (Kraemerhal, in fact)and later, in the 20th century, when there was the exploitation of the gold mine of Brusson (sung by Lo Presti in “There was gold on that mountain”).
Katia will also sing of the ancient castle of Graines, in the town of Brusson, proposing “Lo conto de gran-a” by Claudio Mantovani and Luis de Jaryot. There will also be space for funny situations, existential reflections and two instrumental Martinetti. Ending with the consideration that, despite everything, “Life is beautiful”.
