Excursion to Petit-Monde

Easy full-day hike suitable for all (especially for families and children from 6 years up) to discover the autumn feuillaage and the fauna of the territory. Free hike, reservation required.

Description of the itinerary: after the first part you climb towards the Beutsolo pasture. During the hike you can see coniferous forests and wild animals. If the weather conditions permit, you can reach the pond of Lodetor, situated at 1940 metres.

The route is always on the southern side, so always in the sun, the landscape is varied and offers some very suggestive views such as the view on the “Dames de Challant” and that on the “Mont Avic”...

You will descend following another different path, precisely a mule-track to reach, at the end of the itinerary, the hamlet of Triatel.

Height difference: from 1595 to 1800 metres

Difficulty:  E (for hikers)

Recommended clothing and equipment:  comfortable layered clothing suitable for trekking, and hiking boots.
