Where eagles dare - Long and Mort lakes

Guided excursion above the Place Moulin dam with its cobalt waters.

This itinerary includes some very steep sections, but offers you the possibility to admire some wonderful alpine lakes, that seem to be swallowed by the ground made of stones. The largest of these alpine lakes is called Mort lake (dead lake).

Full day excursion

Height difference: 860 metres

Difficulty:  E (for hikers)

Meeting place: 9 a.m.at the parking place – Place Moulin dam

Recommended equipment and clothing: layered clothing, hiking boots, wind-proof; water-proof jacket, sunglasses, cap, sunscreen, thermos with water.

In case of bad weather: participants will be contacted by the guide within the day before and they will decide whether to accept an alternative solution, or to cancel the excursion.
