The first day.
The event is Saturday at 18:00 at the Refuge (Arp 2446 m), accessible from the car park in Estoul (1870 m) in about an hour and a half easy hike on the trail or the forest road. After dinner the guide will held a short projection (about 40 minutes) to do a general overview on the flora and vegetation of the Alps and present the itinerary for the next day.
Second day.
The excursion runs for about 7 km and a maximum altitude of about 350 m and lasts a total of 5 hours (6 hours in the case of deviations optional). From the Refuge (Arp 2446 m) a.m. to 8:30 with a packed lunch. You can reach the Lakes of the Battle (2485 m), and then follow a circular route that touches the Hill Bringuez (2664 m), the Lake Long (2633 m) and the Lake Pocia (2518 m). You can take a detour panoramic optional (about 1 hour) at Step Bussolaz (2824 m), or to the Colle Palasinaz (2661 m), where you can admire some of the flowers the most emblematic of the environments of high altitude. The route follows the network of trails in the official and does not present technical difficulties, but like all trails in the high altitude requires adequate physical preparation. Return to the Rifugio Arp is expected in the early afternoon; before going to Estoul, you can conclude the day with a visit to the picturesque botanical garden of the refuge.Report errorYour suggestions help improve the quality of machine translationReport error
