In paradise - Sort - Chaussettaz Crossing

Guided loop hike along the trail to the park ranger's lounge and return to Bruil via the Chaissettaz valley. The larch and Swiss stone pine forests accommodate a dense undergrowth of rhododendrons and loniceras. A panoramic stretch halfway up the mountainside allows a breathtaking view of the entire valley. 

Hiking- time: a full-day hike

Estimated ascent time: two and a half hours

Height difference:  570 metres approx.

Difficulty:  E (for hikers)

Recommended clothing and equipment: packed lunch,dress in layers, hiking boots, sunglasses
