• 10.15 a.m. Meet at the picnic area - parking available.
• Departure for the tour. Along the trail, you will pass the Treves Foundry, then climb up to the sledge lift until you reach the junction that will take you to the San Giacomo Tunnel.
• External tour and description of the cableway.
• Transfer to the Roman mine and the miners' shelter, external tour and description of the mining complex.
• Internal tour of the tunnel.
• 1 p.m. Return along the same route.
A journey through time exploring 2,000 years of mining history: from Roman excavations to 20th-century technologies
Participants explore the Saint-Marcel mountain as a veritable open-air laboratory, where every tunnel, path and structure tells the story of the evolution of human labour and technical ingenuity.
You can round off the experience with a traditional lunch at La Chèvre Heureuse or the Locanda del Diavolo at a cost of €25 per person, excluding drinks.
Bookings are appreciated and can be made via the ticket form at the end of the purchase process. Payment for this service will be made directly on site at the end of the excursion.
Please note: the Servette mines are a disused mining site. Given their location, all events are subject to final confirmation by the organiser.
In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the organiser will be responsible for informing participants.
