Snowshoe hike of beginning 2023 in Ayas Valley

Excursion with snowshoes to best inaugurate the new year, discovering the splendid Alpe Metzan and its beauties. Once you arrive at your destination, you can have a lunch upon reservation, in a fantastic setting immersed in the snow. The guide Raffaella Cinti will accompany you along the Ru Courtod, one of the most characteristic places in the entire Ayas Valley.

Participants: minimum 8, maximum 15 people
Equipment: possibility to rent snowshoes, poles and gaiters
Recommended/mandatory clothing, equipment and materials: layered mountain clothing, waterproof and windproof jacket, hat, neck gaiter/buff, gloves and under gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medicine, mask and disinfectant gel, gaiters if you do not have gaiter trousers, water/hot drinks, snacks. Check that the backpack and boots are in good condition. Boots must be suitable for winter (high collar and thick/insulating sole, preferably in Goretex). Both are essential elements for the safety and comfort of the participants
Participation fee: € 20 per person for accompanying guide and RC insurance + Artva kit (13 kits available). Personal expenses, snowshoe rental and travel expenses are not included in the fee. No membership fee is required!

In case of bad weather: the excursion may be cancelled, interrupted or undergo changes in case of unfavorable weather conditions or if the guide deems it necessary
