April in music

Organics SkyGarden Courmayeur is the panoramic terrace at the foot of Mont Blanc, at the Pavillon intermediate station on Skyway Monte Bianco. Four events for the month of April, from 11am to 3pm, with the alternation of musicians of various genres, at 2173 meters above sea level, literally suspended between earth and sky, where the mountain presents itself in all its beauty.

On April 13th the group Pitularita performs with Remy and Vincent Boniface. This music is the spontaneous expression of a pair of musician brothers, who grew up to the sound of the music of the Aosta Valley Alps. From here they set out to discover other musical horizons that develop the convivial feeling of traditional music towards a current and innovative dimension. For five generations the diatonic accordion has clung to the shoulders of this family of which Rémy and Vincent are the heirs, alongside the vibration of the violin strings or the reeds of the bagpipes, the sax and the clarinet. The repertoire is made up of pieces of their own composition and melodies played for dance, extracted from the pool of traditional European music.

In case of bad weather, the performance may be moved to April 14th.
