Concert 'The Organ in Different Ages"
Contactos
The concert presenting the player-robot designed and built by Faure Regani engineers will have as its theme "The organ in the different epochs", so it will develop by touching on a piece for each epoch/important composer from the Renaissance to the end of the 19th century. An alternation has been sought with some very well known pieces, some very virtuosic ones to show the possibility of the machinery and in general with different sonorities, so as to be able to exploit the different sound characters of the organ registers.
The pieces chosen in particular were:
Renaissance: Tourdion
Baroque: Toccata and Fugue in D min (J. S. Bach) and Jesu, meine Freude BWV1105 (J. S. Bach)
Classicism: Toccata in AMagg (Paradisi) and Andante for mechanical organ K616 (Mozart)
Romanticism: Wedding March (Mendelssohn)
Late 19th century: Finale Sonata No. 1 Op 42 (Guilmant)
Free admission.
