The Cervino Matterhorn Ultra Race (CMUR) is an event featuring trail running and vertical races of varying distances that embraces the Matterhorn, the "noblest rock of the Alps," from different angles. All races are above 1,900 meters above sea level.
The events are suitable for all types of runners, and each trail, from the shortest, which offers views of the Italian side of the Matterhorn, to the longest, along glaciers and trails, winds around the Matterhorn, offering breathtaking views, at different times, of the four faces of the legendary mountain.
The race is included in the international ITRA (International Trail Running Association) calendar.
