Subida al refugio Regina Margherita
Por su historia, su posición y el panorama que ofrece, el refugio "Magherita" es uno de los destinos más apreciados entre los que aman la montaña. La subida al refugio es el ascenso más clásico y popular en el Monte Rosa.
La subida se desarrolla en un majestuoso entorno glacial. Desde el Colle del Lys, al aparecer de los primeros rayos de sol, la vista se pierde entre muchos de los picos más prestigiosos de los Alpes, con el Cervino (o Matterhorn) que destaca entre ellos.

Programa
Primer día
Alrededor de las 14:00, encuentro con el guía de montaña en Staffal. Después de revisar el equipo de los participantes, subimos a Punta Indren en teleférifo. Desde aquí, caminamos y llegamos fácilmente a la cabaña Gnifetti, donde pasamos la noche.
Subida: 1:00 hora - 370 m
Segundo día
Salida alrededor de las 5:00 a.m., según la época del año. Caminamos a lo largo del glaciar del Lys hasta el puerto del Lys (4.260 m), donde podemos parar a comer algo, beber y gozar de la vista. Frente a nosotros, la subida continúa, con el refugio Margherita aún muy lejos. Después de un corto descenso, cruzamos debajo del Parrotspitze y atacamos el ascenso al puerto Gnifetti. Desde aquí, nos enfrentamos a "Il Rivetto", el último esfuerzo de la escalada. En poco teimpo, alcanzamos el balcón de la cabaña. Volveremos por el mismo camino.
Ascenso: 3:30 / 4:30 horas, 950 m
Descenso: 3:00 horas, 1.300 m.
Ascent to Castore - 4221 meters
From the Quintino Sella hut is not a long and difficult ascent; the last part is the most thrilling with a nice and curvy ridge that makes things more interesting.
Program:
1st day:
Meeting with the guide in Staffal around 13:30p.m. - Equipment check. With the lift system, we arrive at Colle Bettaforca. From there we will start the walk up to the Quintino Sella hut. The last part of the trail follows a nice rock ridge equipped with iron steps and ropes. We overnight in the hut.
Ascent: 3:30 hours - 850m
2nd day:
Departure around 6:00 depending on the period of the year. At the beginning, the Felik glacier is not too steep and it helps us to warm up the legs. We will easily arrive at the beginning of the steep slopes that goes up to the Felik Pass. Arrived to that pass we will finally reach the nice ridge that we will follow until the top of Castore. The descent goes along the same itinerary. We will stop for lunch at the Sella hut and we will go back to the lift station at Passo Bettaforca.
Ascent: 3:30 hours 650m - Descent: 4-5 hours1500m

Ascent to Dufour peak - Monte Rosa
At 4634 metres, Punta Dufour is the highest peak of Monte Rosa and the second highest in the Alps after Mont Blanc.
The SE ridge, considered the Italian normal route, offers a beautiful climb over mixed terrain and breathtaking views.
Programme:
Day 1:
Meeting with the mountain guide in Staffal at around 2pm. After the material check, we take the cable car to P.ta Indren. From here we hike and easily reach Cap. Gnifetti, where we spend the night.
Ascent: 1 hour - 370m
Day 2:
Departure around 03:00 depending on the time of year. Initially follow the Margherita track to the Gnifetti pass; here divert and climb to the Zumsteinspitze (4563m).
From the summit, descend along the sharp ridge towards the Colle del Papa, where you meet the rocks of the SE ridge. Climb the ridge, which features rock jumps up to grade III, interspersed with thin snow ridges, to the summit of the Grenzgipfel; from here, follow the summit ridge to the main summit 4634m. The descent is along the same route.
We stop at Cap. Gnifetti to stow our rucksacks and continue our descent to the cable car station. With this we return to the valley.
Ascent: 6:30 hours 1,100m - Descent: 5-6 hours 1,500m
