Contatti
It was October 28, 1318 and, in Morgex, the first weekly market took place, as attested by the deed of franchise granted by Amedeo di Savoia, preserved in the Municipality of Morgex.
Morgex celebrates the 700th anniversary of its weekly market, proposing a jump in the fourteenth century for young and old.
It will be possible to reflect on the role of the walking trade in the 21st century, taste traditional dishes, dress the clothes of a nobleman of the Challant court. The proposed dish will be the bagna caòda: the choice derives from the fact that documents attested, for centuries, to the market of Morgex came the fish from the Ligurian coast and the combination of anchovies desalted with vegetables from the mountain gardens has seemed the more appropriate and tasty.
