Film Screening and Preselection Gran Paradiso Film Festival 2026: for the first time, the public is involved in the preselection of films nominated for the International Competition.

This winter, the public is invited to play a leading role in the 29th Gran Paradiso Film Festival.

With this new proposal, the public is involved from the very beginning: during the Christmas screenings, a preview of some of the feature films nominated for the 2026 edition will be presented in their original language. At the end of the screening, participants will be able to express their opinion through an evaluation form. The opinions collected in this way will contribute to the selection of the feature films admitted to the 2026 International Competition.

The public screenings and evaluations of nature films will allow all film enthusiasts to participate immediately in the creation of the next GPFF and will enable the Selection Committee to gather useful evaluations to make the process of choosing the films in competition more efficient and shared.
