On Easter Monday, the entire centre of this famous ski resort is invaded by stands showing the best of local craftsmanship in an atmosphere of celebration and joviality, between music and folklore.
It is possible to admire works of local crafts such as sculptures, carved objects, works performed at the, household items, toys, wickerwork and objects in wrought iron. The taste of creating with your own hands and ancient wisdom are handed down from generation to generation, from teacher to student, and give life to unique objects that restore the warmth and atmosphere of the mountain.

Courmayeur, handicrafts on display at the Foire de la Pâquerette.

Conceived in 1996 by a small group of friends as an end-of-winter celebration, La Pâquerette became a very popular traditional date within a few years.
The official opening of the fair, as usual, is dedicated to music with the parade of the Courmayeur-La Salle music band and the folkloristic group Les Badochys de Courmayeur.
