The fee includes the assistance of the Alpine Guide, the harness and the stick to be requested when booking.

Cableway Skyway Monte Bianco: € 52.00 per person for the return ticket. Discounts for children and families or groups.

Meeting time and place: Entrèves hamlet at the start of the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car at 8am.
Description of the day:

  • 8am Appointment, material check and briefing
  • 8.30am Ascent by cable car to Punta Helbronner 3462m
  • Custom photo on the panoramic terrace: the Alpine Guide will show you the main peaks of Mont Blanc
  • 9.30am Transfer to the glacier: the Alpine Guide will take care of tying you in a rope and will show you the basic rules of glacier excursions
  • In about an hour’s walk, you will arrive at the Colle di Rochefort, a natural balcony on the Val Ferret and Courmayeur. Resuming the journey in the direction of the Giant’s Tooth, the Alpine Guide will tell you about the glaciers and the formation of crevasses and seracs, the main dangers of alpinists.
  • Return to the Sky Way cable car with a total of 2/3 hours of walking
    With the Guide you will decide whether to provide stops at the stations of the lifts uphill or downhill. Departure times may be anticipated.

Other useful information: Packed lunch borne by the participants.

This excursion will allow you to discover the heart of Mont Bianc with its scenery and majesty showing you a new way to enjoy the mountains, as it is carried out on easy terrain on the glacier, in order to teach the basics of mountaineering: rope team glacier travel with and without crampons. The route consists of a loop-shaped path, from Punta Helbronner (3452 mt) to Col du Rochefort - Marbrée (3520 mt). Also suitable for children from 8 years.

Estimated time: 2h30 on foot, it is not a ring route. Possibility of a 3 hours longer ring route reaching Col du Toula and Col de Rochefort.
Difference in altitude: 200/300 m
Difficulty: E (Excursion) always accompanied by the Alpine Guide
Number of participants: minimum 6, inclusion in a group with other people. Maximum 6/8 people for each Guide. Possibility to request the Guide in private negotiation.
Equipment needed: backpack, harness, waterproof trekking boots with rigid sole, trekking poles
Clothing and useful things to have: sunglasses for high mountains / glacier, sunscreen and lip balm, hat, buff, gloves, breathable T-shirt, windstopper or fleece shirt, windproof jacket, mountain trousers in shoeller, mountain socks, gaiters, camera, water bottle, sun hat with border, mask and sanitizing gel.
In case of bad weather: possibility of postponing the excursion to another date.
