Discover the Indren glacier

Half-day excursion.

Every Saturday of this summer season, all guests of the Gressoney Valley can take their first steps on the Indren Glacier on Monte Rosa massif with an Alpine Guide to get closer to the world of mountaineering and to learn the technique of walking on ice.

Travel time: approx. 4.5 hours total
Elevation gain: it varies according to the route chosen by the guide
Difficulty: medium, also suitable for children from 10 years old
Number of participants: minimum 1, maximum 4 (prices vary according to participants)
Equipment: hiking boots, crampons, harness and ice axe, also supplied by the guides (upon request and chargeable)
In case of bad weather the guide will contact the participants to cancel the trip or to choose an alternative date.
