The price includes: the guided excursion, RC insurance, snowshoes and poles for those who do not have the technical equipment, a demonstrations of the usage of the self-rescue ARTVA kit (shovel an probe).

The snowshoe hike starts from Piazza Chanoux (in the centre of the village of Cogne), after a few hundred metres you will enter the enchanted forest of Sylvenoire. The loop itinerary (which is characterized by continuous ups and downs and vast plains) will offer you the opportunity to admire the the diffferent types of trees and wildlife. The snowshoe excursion continues along the hut of Sylvenoire and ends with a descent that takes you back to the village of Cogne in about 20 minutes.

The loop itinerary in the enchanted forest of Sylvenoire, is one of ther most fascinating and magical itineraries in Cogne.
It is an itinerary suitable for families that offers the opportunity to admire,in a sort of a natural labyrinth, many trees of great value: firs, larch-trees, scots pines and Swiss pines.It is exactly in this natural environment that squirrels and roe deer find their favourite habitat. How to forget then the superb view of Mont Blanc and the mines of Cogne?

In case of bad weather : in case of bad weather, whereby safety conditions are no longer met, the snowshoe excursion will be cancelled or postponed to another date.
