HIKING ALONG SNOWY AND SOLITARY PATHS
A real opportunity to discover the Aosta Valley at a slow pace between Nature, loneliness, forests and snow-capped peaks.
Wonderful snowshoe hike in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. You can choose between two different itineraries. The first one starts from Cogne and crosses the Sylvenoire forest, the second one follows the road to the hunting lodge of King Vittorio Emanuele. At the end of the day, visit to the Lillaz waterfalls.
Time of the hike: 2h15 ascent; 1h15 descent
Height difference: 453 metres (length of the itineray 12 Km)
Difficulty; E (for hikers)
Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 8 persons.
Necessary clothing and equipment: warm, layered clothing, GORETEX trekking boots, après-ski boots (no moon boot). Rucksack with packed lunch, gloves, cap, sunglasses.
