Becca France from Vetan

Discover the Aosta Valley at a leisurely pace, surrounded by history, nature, peace, solitude, forests, and snow-capped peaks.

A full-day hike that starts from the village of Vetan, a balcony overlooking the central valley, and heads along the Ru river to the Los mountain pasture. From here, the trail climbs through a beautiful coniferous forest to the summit of Becca France, a superb vantage point overlooking Mount Emilius, Grivola, Gran Paradiso, and the entire central valley.

• Hiking time : 5,30 hours round trip
• Height difference: 535 metres
• Difficulty: E (for hikers)
• Number of participants: minimum 5, maximum 10 persons.
• Necessary clothing and equipment: warm, layered clothing, GORETEX trekking boots, après-ski shoes sorel type (no moon boot). Rucksack with packed lunch, gloves, caps, sunglasses.

Packed lunch to be provided by participants.
