Snowshoe hike to the sancuary of Gillarey

Full-day excursion

The hamlets of Etirol and Triatel constitute a world apart, or rather a Petit Monde, situated on a small terrace overlooking the valley,and this is the point of departure of an itinerary reaching woods and high altitude pastures.

The itinerary goes up from here to Alpe Tsantsevellà to reach the ridge overlooking the main valley which houses the small sanctuary of Gillarey, situated in a splendid panoramic position.

Time of the excursion:2h30 - one way
Difference in altitude: 550 metres Triatel (1620 mt.) – Sanctuary of Gillarey (2170 mt.)
Difficulty :E (for hikers)
Recommended clothing and equipment: warm mountain and layered clothing, gloves, cap,hiking boots (no moonboot). If necessary snowshoes and poles will be supplied.
