Full-day snowshoe hike: Sanctuary of Calvalité

Experience the magic of winter with a beautiful medium-difficulty hike, in a wild environment in the Cheneil basin.

Once you reach the small village of Cheneil, the ascent continues first through a larch forest and then along the slope beneath the ridge where the Clavalité sanctuary stands.

The view is breathtaking, stretching over the entire Valtournenche, the Matterhorn, and several peaks of the Aosta Valley.

Elevation gain: approx. 500 m
Difficulty: E (hiking)
Recommended clothing, equipment, and material: warm and waterproof clothing, windproof jacket, waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, warm and waterproof  hiking  boots or après-ski boots, backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water/snacks, water bottle.
Equipment included in the fee: snowshoes and trekking poles
Minimum number of participants: 4 participants.
Minimum age: 12 years
