Giro-E Aosta-Cogne

The Giro-E, a non-competitive cycling event with pedal assisted bicycles, about an hour and a half before the 15th stage of the Giro d’Italia will cover a portion of the race track from Aosta to Cogne.

The 60 km route starts from the central Chanoux square of Aosta, passing through Verrogne and Saint-Pierre for a total of 2400 metres in altitude until arriving in Cogne in the pretty village of Lillaz, known for its spectacular waterfalls.

From Bellon to Verrogne there will be the team regularity test, from Saint-Pierre to Aymavilles the mixed regularity test while from Aymavilles to Vieyes the time trial.
