"Tsarettoun" cart race

The carts that run on ball bearings - “tsarettoun” in the French-Provançal dialect - made their official début in Valle d’Aosta in the very early Seventies.

The sport is promoted through the organisation of a regional championship, divided up into various stages, which takes place every summer in a number of tourist resorts in Valle d’Aosta.
